My name is Nancy.
HI THERE!
For as long as I can remember, I've had an obsession with photography. I started out with a little green plastic film camera back when I was 5 years old, it was my prized posession and produced many dozens of blurry photos of flowers from the local nursery, cropped-off heads of poor family members, and random cars driving down our street from in front of our house. I still have a few of them in one of my old albums. At 13, I received my first 1.3 mp digital camera for my birthday. By 16, I had saved enough to buy my first DSLR camera, and so my official journey to slow down every hiking group I was invited to had begun...
I poured over every photography book I could get my hands on, took several college classes, and tried to practice my technical skills as much as I could. I finally made the decision this last year to make photography my second career.
I currently live in Colfax, CA with my adorable cat, Sassy. I work locally, or I can travel to special locations in Northern California to get you the best portraits possible, just reach out to me and let me know! I'll talk to you soon. =)
